Special Meeting of the Township Board

Notice: There is a special meeting of the Springville Township Board on Thursday evening at 6:15 to discuss and approve a motor for the rescue boat for the Fire Department. This notice was made on September 22 at 4:49 p.m., within the statutory requirement for a Special Meeting.


Notice: There is a 2021-2022 budget meeting on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at 6 p.m. This meeting will be the hour before the regular monthly meeting of the township board. All meetings are located at the Springville Township Community Center and Library building. This is conducted as per law by the township board. 


Notice: There will be a special election audit for the November 3, 2020 election on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at 5 p.m. at the Springville Community Center and Library building. It will be conducted as per law for Wexford County elections in the Community Center.

There will be a special board meeting teleconference call held on May 6th, 2020 at 6:00PM. This meeting is to approve the minutes from the April 20th, 2020 meeting to ensure the ballot proposals are approved completely. This teleconference will be done over the phone due to the current Covid-19 pandemic. This notice details to follow the Open Meetings Act.

Public Notice: Springville Township Meeting Notice 10-27-2019

A special meeting will be held by Springville Township Board for the purpose of discussing the request from the attorney to review the resolution for the grant procedures to fund the future building projects. Also, to determine the contract for the Township hall cleaning until the move into the new community center. The meeting will be held at the Township Complex 4785 N M-37, Mesick at 7:00 PM on Monday, October 27, 2019. Public Notice: Springville Township Meeting Notice 6-17-2019

The Springville Township Board will be reviewing the 2019-2020 Annual Budget at the regular meeting held Monday, June 17, 2019. The property tax millage rate proposed to be levied to support the proposed budget will be a subject of this meeting. The meeting will be held at the Springville Township Hall Complex Building, 4785 N. M-37, Mesick, Michigan 49668 at 7:00 P.M. The public is invited to attend. Special Meeting Notice for 12-14-2018

There will be a special meeting Friday, December 14 at 10 a.m. This meeting is to appoint the new township treasurer and to swear her into office. Also, the meeting is to swear in the township clerk, who has already been appointed by the board. The board will also designate signors for township checks at the bank. Springville Board of Review

The BOR meets for a short organizational meeting on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 in the Springville Township Complex on M-37. The public meeting will be as follows:
Tuesday, March 13, 2018 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Wednesday, March 14, 2018 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.
If anyone has a question or a problem with their property taxes, this is the time to have the Board of Review and the Assessor address these questions.
